Correct Craft is no ordinary company… 

Over 90 years ago our founder, Walter C. Meloon, started Correct Craft on the foundation of “Building Boats to the Glory of God.” This mission has been expressed in many different ways and books have been written about how this direction has positively impacted our history. We still do our best to honor our founder and live out his charge.

Today Correct Craft has grown way beyond where Mr. Meloon could have imagined. We have over 20 entities in our family including seven boat companies, three engine brands, and three of the world’s largest boat and cable parks. We have manufacturing facilities in five states and work with distributors in about 70 countries. Our events promote watersports, boating, and fishing all around the globe. 

We are a strategic plan-driven company but we also believe that culture trumps strategy every time. This is why we focus heavily on maintaining a highly relational culture. To illustrate our unique culture, we have created the Correct Craft Identity Pyramid that captures both what is important to us and how we want to conduct ourselves. 

At Correct Craft, our mission is “Making Life Better.” We want to make life better for our customers, our employees and their families, our dealers, vendors, strategic partners, and friends. Of course we also want to be profitable but we firmly believe there is nothing inconsistent with being both a high performance organization and having a culture that makes life better for people. We achieve this through focusing on the three pillars of our company – People, Performance, and Philanthropy. 

Correct Craft has been growing quickly, but we are not finished. We appreciate the opportunity to speak with business owners who are considering selling, but also want to ensure that their company, legacy, and employees continue to thrive well into the future.

OUR OUTREACH

Probably the most unique part of Correct Craft’s culture is our focus on philanthropy. As part of our “Making Life Better” mission, Correct Craft employees not only serve locally but also travel throughout the world to help those in need. We have served in India, Cambodia, Ethiopia, Kenya, Uganda, Haiti, Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Nicaragua, El Salvador, Mexico, and here in the U.S. on the Apache reservation. Our team wants to make life better helping those we can both at home and around the globe.

NAUTIQUE BOATS: Nautique has been on the waters of the world with a passion for innovation since 1925. Known to push the envelope of possibility on the water, our owners have come to expect nothing but the absolute best. The Ski Nautique 200 has changed waterskiing with 22 world records, the G-Series has won numerous awards for wakeboard boat and wakesurf boat of the year while unlocking new possibilities in wakeboarding and wakesurfing, and our Sport Series has given families endless days on the water without compromise.

CENTURION BOATS: Centurion was conceived in California in 1976 and quickly became the leading builder of towboats on the west coast. Over the years the Centurion brand has become synonymous with innovation and unique design. Primarily known for introducing the first ever boat designated for wakesurfing, Centurion is still making waves twenty years later with its groundbreaking hull designs, surf systems, and high volume ballast capacities. Centurion is the exclusive towboat of the World Wake Surfing Championships as well as the IWWF Wakeboard World Championships proving its versatility in pulling all watersport disciplines.

AKTION PARKS: Aktion Parks is a boat and cable park operation that delivers customers an active watersports lifestyle that is safe, healthy, family friendly, and environmentally conscious. Aktion Parks owns and operates three of the most recognized parks in the world, Orlando Watersports Complex, Miami Watersports Complex, and Elite Cable Park. 

BASS CAT BOATS: Bass Cat manufactures the industry’s premier bass fishing boats from its headquarters in Mountain Home, Arkansas. Family operated since its founding in 1971, Bass Cat is the longest existing tournament bass boat company in the U.S. Earning five consecutive awards for “Best in Fiberglass Bass Boats”, Bass Cat also led the industry in Customer Satisfaction.

SUPREME BOATS: The Supreme brand was founded in 1968 focused primarily on building towboats for the growing waterski market. Today Supreme is focused on building boats with world-class performance and industry leading value. Supreme offers a wide selection of models and sizes specifically designed to provide the highest levels of quality, features, and performance for today’s aspiring athletes and families alike. 

YAR-CRAFT BOATS: Celebrating over 45 years of excellence in the marine industry, Yar-Craft is the premier walleye fishing boat in the world known for its excellent craftsmanship and customer service. Recognized by multi-species anglers as “The Dry One,” Yar-Craft’s signature “Deep-V” fiberglass fishing hull withstands bigger waters and harsher conditions than the competition. 

SEAARK BOATS: With over 58 years of experience in boat building, SeaArk Boats is the industry’s premier aluminum fishing boat known for outstanding product quality and excellent customer service. Known for their heavy-duty “over-built” style of aluminum boats, SeaArk builds bass, crappie, catfish, mud, bay, and duck boats as well as basic jons, tunnel hulls, and sport jet models.

BRYANT BOATS: Since 1960, Bryant Boats, has been operated by some of the industry’s most renowned builders and designers. Located in Sweetwater, Tennessee, Bryant produces stern drive runabouts ranging in length from 19-27 feet using 100% hand-laid fiberglass and wood-free construction designed for discerning and value-conscious boaters.

CRUSADER ENGINES: For over 58 years, Crusader Engines have provided premium power with superior performance, durability, and overall customer satisfaction for the world’s finest inboard motor yachts, cruisers, and sport-fishing boats.
