Challenge

The World Championships are waterskiing’s Olympics, so it deserves the utmost respect when it comes to branding and promotion. It required a dynamic visual identity to attract attendees and participants. This was especially difficult because I inherited a low-res bitmap logo that, respectfully, looked like clip art met confusion.

Solution

For consistency’s sake, I took the difficult logo and pulled it apart, using the same color palette and skier silhouettes to create eye catching print marketing materials that evoke the energy of this prestigious extreme sport event.
